ROTATIONAL INERTIA: RING AND DISK -stroboscopic
Rolling Down Inclined Plane
Ring & disk have same mass & diameter. Because distance of mass from center of rotation is greater for ring it has a greater moment of inertia (twice the inertia of disk). Under equal force the disk experiences greater angular momentum and travels faster.
