LIQUID OXYGEN IN BEAKER
Gaseous O2 Condenses At -183 degC To Form A Liquid
The electron configuration of the oxygen atom is 1s2 2s2 2p4 and its high electronegativity is 3.5. It is just two electrons short of the stable octet configuration of neon.
