IRIDESCENCE: INTERFERENCE IN THIN FILM (SOAP)
Light Interference Causes A Colorful Pattern
Light reflected from one surface of wedge shaped soap film may cancel light that reflects from the other. If hit w/white light, complementary color results from destructive interference. As film thins, phase difference increases & film appears black.
