BISMUTH
Brilliant Iridescence Due to Tarnish
Bismuth is a post-transition metal, often occurring in a distinct stair-stepped pattern due to the faster growth rate of exterior edges of the crystal form. An iridescent oxide tarnish can be seen; varied thicknesses of the tarnish reflect different hues.
