Carnation Immersed In The Liquid N2
The liquified gas is at a temperature of -196 o C. The liquid nitrogen is boiling because it has absorbed heat from the room, which is around 225 degrees warmer than the liquid. The carnation flower quickly freezes and becomes brittle.
