CHARLES' LAW: INFLATED BALLOON AT ROOM TEMPERATURE (2 of 2)
Gas Volume Is Proportional To Temperature
As liquid nitrogen (-196'C or 77'K) is poured over a balloon containing gas at a constant pressure, the gas trapped in the balloon is cooled and the volume decreases in direct proportion to the decrease in temperature .
