10 Pennies In 10 Test Tubes of HCl.<br />
All pennies are scratched. Six react, releasing H2 gas bubbles. Minted after 1984, the reactive pennies are 97.5% zinc.  Four pennies were minted prior to 1982 and are copper alloyed with only 5% zinc.
