pH COMPARISON OF BUFFERED & UNBUFFERED SOLUTION
(4 of 4)
Buffered Solution Neutralizes Additional Acid
100ml of .10M NaOH(aq) is added to buffered solution. Methyl red indicator remains red. Buffers in solution resist changes in pH by neutralizing the added acid or base with the base or acid component of the buffer.
