pH METER: GLASS ELECTRODE TESTING SOLUTION
One Probe Is pH Responsive The Other Is Reference
When the two electrodes are immersed in a solution, they act as a battery. The glass electrode develops an electric charge related to the hydrogen-ion activity in the solution & the voltmeter measures the difference between the glass & reference electrodes.
