Sulfuric Acid is Poured Into Beaker of Sugar
Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) in a beaker has a very strong affinity for water & can be used to dehydrate carbohydrates. It reacts with sucrose (C12H22O11) in beaker removing 11 molecules of water from each molecule of sucrose.
