A Lump Of MnO2 Lowered Into Hydrogen Peroxide
A lump of Manganese dioxide (MnO2), lowered into 30% solution of hydrogen peroxide, catalyzes the decomposition of H2O2 but does not itself undergo a permanent chemical change in the process.
