pH COMPARISON OF BUFFERED & UNBUFFERED SOLUTION
(1 of 4)
Buffering By An Acetic Acid/Sodium Acetate Buffer
A buffered weakly acidic solution is made by the addition of sodium acetate (NaCH3CO2) crystals to 0.10M acetic acid (CH3COOH) and monitored until the pH is shown to be about 4.78. Universal indicator in solution is red.
