ENTERIC COATED ASPIRIN
Prevents Absorption in the Stomach
Enteric coating material is a film forming polymer insoluble in gastric juices that reduces incidences of gastric bleeding from the aspirin use. Among the materials used are phthalates, copolymers of methacrylic acid and acrylic acid esters.
