MENISCUS COMPARISON
Dye in H2O Compared to Liquid Mercury
Concave and convex menisci.
The convex meniscus of the liquid mercury is caused by the higher level f attraction mercury molecules have to each other. The concave meniscus of the H2O by comparison is caused by lower attraction between water molecules.
