REFRACTION EXPERIMENT: GLASS IN OIL & IN WATER
Refractive Index of Glass & Immersion Oil
The glass dropper placed in immersion oil is practically invisible while the dropper in water is visible. Immersion oil has the same refractive index as glass, therefore light passing thru the oil & glass is not bent concealing the surface of the glass.
