CHARGING AN ELECTROSCOPE BY INDUCTION (2 of 2)
Measuring Electric Charge
A device that is used to detect static electricity is an electroscope. When a negative charged rod is brought near the positive conductor plate, it drives the electrons into the conductor arms of the electroscope which become negative and deflect.
