REACTION - SILVER NITRATE WITH POTASSIUM DICHROMATE
An Ionic Equation
0.25M K2CrO4 (aq) is added to 0.10M AgNO3 (aq). The silver cation reacts with the dichromate anion to produce a dark red precipitate of silver chromate: 4Ag+ + Cr2O7-2 + H2O -----> 2Ag2CrO4 + 2H+
