PRECIPITATION: SILVER CHLORIDE
Salt Effect: No Precipitate
AgNO3(aq) & KCl(aq) in KNO3 solution do not form AgCl(s) Ag+ ions attract & become surrounded by NO3- ions. Cl- ions attract & become surrounded by K+ ions. The surrounding ions prevent formation of AgCl(s) thus increasing solubility of the salt AgCl.
