CROCOITE.Lead Chromate Crystals.(PbCrO4) Relatively soft on the Mohs hardness scale, crocoite appears as monoclinic prismatic crystals. Found in oxidized lead veins as a secondary mineral, requiring a presence of chromium solution in deposits to form.
