ZINC IN SULFURIC ACID IN A CLOSED SYSTEM: 1 of 7
Yields Zinc Sulfate (aq) & Hydrogen Gas
Metallic zinc is placed in an Buchner flask with a sidearm balloon and stopper. A thermocoupled temperature sensor will indicate the heat caused by reaction of the zinc with 1.0M H2SO4 in the graduate.
