AKA Galvanic, Electrolytic, Daniell & Voltaic Cell<br />
Consists of two half cells. The Zn anode in ZnNO4(aq) (oxidation half-reaction) & the Cu cathode in CuNO4(aq) (reduction half-reaction). Electrons flow from the anode to the cathode through the wire. The salt bridge permits contact of solutions.
