TRANSPARENT, TRANSLUCENT, OPAQUE (2 of 3)
Flashlight Shining Through Translucent Plexiglass
The flashlight beam enters the frosted plastic but it is diffused & scattered by the texture of the material & then re-emerges, demonstrating the property of translucency. Light is visible through translucent objects, form is less so. They cast no shadow.
