BILLIARD BALL THROWN IN THE AIR - STROBOSCOPIC IMAGE
The Ball Has Downward Acceleration As Soon As It's Released
With an initial upward velocity of +10.5 m/s, the acceleration of the ball is -9.81 m/sec2. The negative acceleration slows the velocity to 0 m/s at which point the ball reaches the peak of its upward motion and is about to move downward.
