SUBLIMATION & RECRYSTALLIZATION OF IODINE
Using Cold Finger Condenser
When solid iodine is heated at ordinary atmospheric pressure, it sublimes (changes directly from solid to gas). When the I2 vapor comes in contact with a cold surface, it deposits I2 crystals.
