COLLIGATIVE PROPERTY: FREEZING CUPRIC SULFATE(AQ).CuSO4*5H2O (Copper II Sulfate).A nonvolatile solute (CuSO4) lowers the freezing point of the solvent, water. As the almost pure solvent freezes out, the solution becomes more concentrated and the freezing point lowers further.
