DETERMINING DENSITY OF AN IRREGULAR SOLID (2 of 2)
Density Is Mass Per Unit of Volume
To determine its volume, the coal is suspended underwater at 20'C, the scale registers 80 g. Using the two readings to find buoyant force, the density of the coal may be determined. W1 is divided by (W1-W2).
