MAGNETITE
Ferrimagnetic Mineral
Magnetite is an iron oxide. While magnetite is a ferrimagnetic mineral, only a small portion of magnetite found is magnetized as lodestone. Non-magnetized magnetite is attracted to magnetic fields but does not become magnetized itself.
