EQUILIBRIUM RESTORED BY USE OF SIPHON<br />

Fluid is added to the beaker on the right<br />
When liquid is added to one beaker, the additional liquid is siphoned through the tube and the levels are restored. The flow is determined by the difference in hydrostatic pressure. Liquid rises over the crest of the siphon due to gravitational pull.
