ENDOTHERMIC PROCESS: ICE & SURROUNDING AIR
Measured by Digital Thermometers (22.9C & 19.4C)
Heat passes from the surrounding air into the ice block. The thermometer reading decreases closer to the ice indicating that heat is being used to melt the ice. After the ice is melted heat will equalize the surrounding temperatures.
